One Day Tomorrow
1 min readAug 7, 2019
When I die tomorrow,
tell the trees
I loved you.
Show it to the wind
that rises into the trees
descending from the branches
I loved you.
Explain it to a child
young enough to understand.
Whisper It to an animal
looking at him.
Report my love for the houses of rock,
Describe it to a marbled city
How I loved you
Don’t tell anyone.
No one will want to believe you.
None can believe it:
That only a man, that only a woman,
That one person may love another
as much as I love you.
