God, Let Me Remember
1 min readJun 25, 2019
I do not understand
how to show you:
every day’s slow dying,
impediment of the senses,
delaying annihilation,
terrible delusion.
The scandal bows in the dust
and sobs heartbroken
you have no will-nothing.
From your lips, water whispered,
grinding dry crusts.
Your palms porcelain
Where I poured my love,
and now: disseminated shards.
I’m so eager
we made love,
now a stranger to you.
In a mirror, you see obscurely
the contours of a fool.
I do not know
how to say to you:
I will always love you
until death grants you,
lovingly freedom.
